Healthy recipe - Chilli Mushroom for Diabetic diet

Ingredients for preparing Chilli Mushroom

  • chopped mushroom - 100 grams
  • Chopped garlic (kata lahsun) - 2 tsp
  • Chopped ginger (kata adrak) - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder (laal mirch powder) - 2 tsp
  • corn flour - 2 tsp
  • Vinegar (sirka) - 0.5 tsp
  • Black pepper (kaalee mirch) - 2 pinch
  • Oil - 1 cup
  • ingredients_ - 1
  • Chopped green chillies (kata hari mirch) - 1
  • Chopped Capsicum (kata shimala mirch) - 1
  • chopped spring onions - 2 sprig
  • ingredients_ - 2 tsp
  • soy sauce - 0.5 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves (kata hara dhaniya) - 2 sprig
  • Salt (namak) - as required

Steps to prepare Chilli Mushroom

  1. Mix the corn flour, maida, salt, soy sauce and pepper powder in a bowl. Add the mushrooms and mix well.
  2. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium flame. Fry the mushrooms until golden brown and crisp.
  3. Remove and drain excess oil. Keep one to two tsp oil in the pan and remove the excess.
  4. Add ginger, garlic, onions and green chillies. Saute for a minute or two.
  5. Add the red chilli paste and little water, if desired. Add the mushrooms and stir well.
  6. Cook until all moisture has evaporated and remove. Garnish with coriander leaves and spring onions.
