Ingredients for preparing Carrot Soup

  • Chopped Carrot (kata gaajar) - 250 grams
  • Virgin Olive Oil - 1 tsp
  • Garlic cloves (lahsun) - 2
  • Salt (namak) - as required
  • Basil - 4
  • Lemon Juice (nimboo juice) - 4 tbsp
  • Dried oregano - 0.5 tsp

  • Water (paani) - 1000 ml
  • Black pepper (kaalee mirch) - 2 pinch
  • cinnamon powder - 1 tsp

Steps to prepare Carrot Soup

  1. Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F. Grease the baking pan with olive oil.
  2. In a greased baking dish place the carrot and onions. Season with salt, black pepper and oregano. Roast in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. Take out the roasted carrot and onion in a pot. Pour in the water and boil for 10 minutes.
  3. Turn off the stove and make a puree with the help of a hand blender.
  4. Strain the soup in a large bowl. Garnish the carrot soup with the parsley and serve.
