Ingredients for preparing Cauliflower Egg Bhurji

  • Grated Cauliflower (kasa phoolgobi) - 1.5 cup
  • ingredients_ - 2 cup
  • Chopped Tomato (kata tamatar) - 2
  • Curry Leaves (kadi patta) - 1 sprig
  • Ginger Garlic Paste (adarak lahasun paste) - 1 tsp
  • Fennel Seeds (saunf) - 0.5 tsp
  • Turmeric powder (Haldi powder) - 0.25 tsp
  • Chilli Powder (mich powder) - 0.25 tsp
  • Biryani masala - 0.5 tsp
  • Salt (namak) - as required
  • Egg (anda) - 3

Steps to prepare Cauliflower Egg Bhurji

  1. Heat a pan with a tablespoon of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the fennel seeds and fry for a few seconds.
  2. Now add the diced onions and saute for a few minutes until brown.
  3. Now add the grated cauliflower, chopped tomatoes, curry leaves, and ginger-garlic paste and keep sauteing under low flame for 10 more minutes.
  4. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, briyani masala powder, and salt and keep sauteing for 5-7 minutes until the cauliflower turns into a kind of mushy consistency.
  5. At this point, add the eggs and scramble them until they are done.
  6. Serve hot with rice or chapathis
